We have an upcoming photo shoot for a major brand and we’re casting a real family and their beloved dog for the shoot. The shoot will take place at the end of February in the hometown of the selected family. Below is some info for casting. Please share with friends, family, acquaintances that might be interested! The casted family WILL be compensated by the client. And the shoot will be a blast:) It’s critical that the pet play an important role in the family’s life, as that relationship will be featured in this piece.

WE’RE LOOKING FOR A FAMILY OF AT LEAST 2 PEOPLE WITH THE FOLLOWING:

– a sporting breed dog (ie. Golden Retriever, German Shorthaired Pointer, English Springer  Spaniel, Lab, Beagle, Coonhound, Weimaraner, etc)

– an active lifestyle (walkers or runner or hikers or campers…anything active and outdoors that  you might do with your entire family). It’s important that this is something your dog does with you.

– a home in a warmer climate location for a February shoot, with a mixed terrain in their city-  area of rock or hills and some trees (ie. Texas, Southern Cali, Florida, AZ, New Mexico)

HOW TO APPLY:

• your name, along with a recent family photo and a picture of your dog (if not in your family photo already).

• basic information about your family including ages of everyone

• the breed of your dog

• a description of your favorite outdoor family activities (that include your pet) in your area, and where these activities might take place.  If you have any pictures of your family and pet in these locations, feel free to share those as well. *Not necessary for being selected*
• Please check your schedule to be sure you’re available to shoot on Feb. 26, 2012 near your home. There will be back-up dates for rain, but we’ll be in touch if that is the case.

We had the colorful and (incredibly) tasty opportunity to work with Ulupi to launch her new cupcake business, Cupnest. Our studio styled and photographed (and tasted) all the cupcakes. Ulupi’s “Cupnest” is going to be a great addition to the Columbus dessert scene! Below are just a few of the images we shot but I’m sure if you check back over the coming months, you’ll see more.

A site I recently published, Vegan Foodie, is getting some photo love – 5d mkii or iPhone on all photos (both below were on the 5d). I could shoot food all day, everyday. But only if I get to try it after I shoot it:)
