A seriously cute and super active little newborn I spent the afternoon with today! :)

The SWEET hat Greyson is sportin is from Lottie Da in Clintonville.
It’s (almost) a new month which means it’s time for a new giveaway! And while this stuff normally is exclusively detailed in the emails (meaning only those subscribed can participate), there was just too much info to put it all in one place this time, so here we go. This February we’re giving a shout out to new and soon-to-be mommies!

Here are 5 more chances to win after signing up online! Each counts as one additional contest entry.
1) Become a fan of the Lauryn Byrdy Photography Facebook Fan Page here
2) Follow me on Twitter here
3) Become a fan of the Lottie Da Facebook Fan Page here
4) Follow Lottie Da on Twitter here
5) Stop by Lottie Da between Feb 1-28 and leave your name with Amy so she knows you were there!
Meet Sarah. The rest of her family was at the shoot, I promise. But this cutie-patoot kinda stole the show. If you’ve had a session with me, you know I don’t pose you. Only if you reeeeeeally need me to and ask nicely:) But Sarah didn’t ask, nor need. She worked it. WORKED IT>
And I laughed. Because it was just so stinkin cute;)

Carol, at the time, was pregnant with their son so this shoot was family>maternity>lifestyle children’s portrait all rolled into one!

Oh wait…back to Sarah. We got off track.

HUGE Congrats to the Heller family on their new little boy – Greyson!!!
EDIT: SORRY – I’VE BEEN TOLD IT’S TAKING FOREVER TO LOAD. HOPEFULLY THIS SIZE HELPS:)
I LOVED shooting this wedding as much as I think you’ll enjoy seeing it come together! This high-energy and heart-felt outdoor backyard wedding this fall still stands out in my mind as the most unique wedding I have had the privilege to be apart of …as a guest or photographer. I want to break this into two posts – you’ll definitely be seeing more from Carmen’s big day:)
These details so appropriately set up the beautiful wedding.
And can we PLEASE talk about that dress??? Radiant. Vibrant. Flow-y and completely gorgeous. When Carmen walked out of her house with those boots (a few photos up) and this gown, I’m pretty sure I squealed…loudly. You know how much I love bright and bold colors. I could not have picked something more perfect myself!!!

She was laughing during the picture on the left. A baby giggle is one of the most hilarious happenings. More coming!

The crazy adorable ruffly on the right is from Lottie Da Baby in Clintonville. Really, would it be from anywhere else??
I discovered this (the statement in the title) when I delayed putting off pricing updates, reorganizing, cleaning my workspace, filing in new binders, picking up another HUGE wall calendar so I actually know what day it is (other than looking at my phone or directly in front of me on the computer…i know, ridiculous), and yada yada yada.
But honestly, I have been lost without the wall calendar. I keep staring at a blank wall.
Well, Tuesday I stayed up crazy late to finish a lot of that stuff. And today I’m picking up the wall calendar somewhere. Don’t know where I’m getting this year’s yet.
I thought you should know a couple quick things:
1 – There is new pricing. Did a little rearranging to make some AWESOME packages and can now offer some sweet new products because I’ve been sampling the heck out of ‘em and think they’re good enough for you.
2 – You’re going to think I’m crazy but start thinking about and planning your spring/summer shoots. Maternity? Newborn? Kids? Seniors? Don’t wait until there are no available dates! I have 3 dates left for weddings from May-Oct so if that gives you any indication of my availability already, better call to snatch up some week nights!

3 – Jan/Feb/Mar will be running some sweet giveaways plus there will be some announcements made about recruiting some of you for some upcoming promo shoots. You’ll find 90% of the info in the email so make sure you’re signed up.
4 – You should know Carrie K is hard at work to make my little home more happy and vibrant with some pillows, roman shades, a new lamp shade cover and bed decor. PUMPED! Here’s a peek…

That’s all for now.
Part one of Audrey’s senior pics were posted on Friday. If you didn’t see them, you can check them out here…or just scroll down:) Here’s the second half from the super cold fall day!

For fun:) Really lovin this look.

LOVE this one:

And this one:

Snow-baby Stella, the Vizsla.

Breaking this into two posts. So here you go…
Meet Audrey. I previewed her shoot back in October. Besides the fact that she’s beautiful, she’s willing to do just about anything. You wouldn’t know it here but it had to be 40 degrees the day we shot this. And look what she’s wearing?! She had to be FREEZING but stuck it out like a champ. I left the car running and made her heat up every 20 frames or so. Poor thing. But I’m pretty sure she never initiated the walk to the car. I had to make her sit.
Audrey is the same one you saw sporting THESE AMAZING SHOES AT HER FAMILY REUNION!. So clearly style matters here:)

When she showed up with this GORGEOUS scarf, i was all smiles. The colors look incredible in these shots.

I feel like she’s done this before…
modeling.

And we laughed the ENTIRE time.

Still editing, still more coming. But it’s a busy week so wanted to get you SOMETHING to enjoy and more will come soon!!!
