May 29, 2010It’s napping weather
May 29, 2010A bike cart picked us up at our Inn and took us over to Rue de Jean for a patio lunch with the puppies. Took us 10-15 minutes to get there in the cart and we got ambitious and decided to walk home in the heat. 45 minutes later with no sunscreen and in flip flops, we arrived back at the Inn with too pooped out pups. I walked out of the room for a second and came back in to Matt napping with the pups.
We’re off to walk around town a little more, hitting up a coffee shop then heading over to Folly Beach to shoot Kurt and Nina’s beach front wedding. Pics to come!

May 27, 2010Off to Charleston, SC for Kurt and Nina’s beach wedding! I’ll return with lotsa of amazing beachy pics and a rockin sunrise day-after shoot with the bride and groom. Wait until you see what we have in store:)
If you need me, you can email but please be patient. I’ll be out until late Monday then spending Tuesday prepping for consults the rest of the week including a full day of commercial work in the studio Thursday. You’ll hear back from me as soon as humanly possibly!

May 23, 2010Just wrapped up #3 – Scott & Mary Ann’s wedding in Cincinnati yesterday! Bride: gorgeous. And super giggly which makes my job easy, right? 
Oh and I have to give them a quick shout out – THANK YOU for giving me the freedom as your photographer to take you to locations I knew you’d be happy w/ the images in the end. Cant wait until you see these!

We hop in the car Thursday to head for Charleston, SC for wedding number #4. A nice close to a VERY wedding May!

May 14, 2010It has been a month….A MONTH since you last heard from me on here. I’m sorry. Really, I am. I mean to keep up – keep you posted on happenings and photoshoots. And I know you understand why I’ve been quiet but I still feel bad that I haven’t been sharing the progress with you. So here are some FAVORITE photo moments over the last 15-some days…
April kicked off with a chunk of commercial work. A loud and giggly, high-pitched-voice-chattery (that voice you use when you’re around kids and puppies), binkie dropping, cuddly, cheek-pinching, spit-up clean-up happening, ULTRA ADORABLE 4-day photoshoot with 37 kiddos…all under the age of 2. A blast. More details on that to come! Kara, our studio stylist, worked so so SO hard outfitting every child and pinning as they were running away from her. It was a fun challenge:)
Up next: a newborn-ish shoot:) Baby ABE! Love. this. face.
Then, came a photoshoot in late April filled with goodies. Cupcakes. I wanted all of them.
Then wedding season hit.
May 1 – Robyn and Rob’s simple family-filled hometown wedding. Fave pic of him carrying her across the cobblestone driveway.
May 8 – Maribeth and Taylor’s loud, fun, energetic (and HUGE) Dayton wedding! Record was set for me – 22 in the wedding party.
TO FINISH OUT MAY WEDDINGS: May 22 in Cincinnati for Mary Ann and Scott’s wedding, then headed down to Charleston SC 4 days later for Kurt and Nina’s seaside destination wedding!
Amidst all of this excitement, renovations are still being made to the studio. A designer has joined the team to help us create a fun and inspiring space to meet with all of you! We also have learned that Leanna’s (hair stylist) mom can do ANYTHING> I mean anything you ask her if she can do, the answer is always yes. It’s amazing. You’ll meet her at grand opening too:)
