Alright, I totally tried to drag this out but it’s been guessed already so I thought I’d just spill the beans:) I’m terrible at keeping secrets like this anyway…

WE HAVE AN OFFICE!

And by “we” I mean: me. ANNNNNND… Kara (not pictured above) – super fab wardrobe stylist from NYC. Kelli (right, above) – diva make-up artist. Leanna (left, above) – not-a-hair-out-of-place hair perfection.

We’ve been rushing around. Signing a lease. Planning the interior design. Scheduling meetings (already!) and dreaming about a grand opening party to share the finished studio with all of you!

There are bigger plans still in the works but more that later. Maybe I’ll have Leanna guest blog that one:) We’re thrilled to share this news and can’t wait to have all of you visit us!

Here’s a little tour I recorded when we were still in the search process.

First off – I’m still an on-location photographer. THe studio will be the meeting and event location. Hair, make-up and wardrobe styling will happen here. However, we are also fully capable of shooting commercial and portrait inside. The place is huge and beautifully naturally lit. So if you don’t get great light in your home and want to have your newborn shoot here, we’re happy to have you!

And I know what you’re next question is. The answer to it, “YES”. Matt and I are still going to be in London England this January/Feb and in Portland Feb-May. I will be booking one wedding a month from Feb to May and scheduling senior, family, kids and engagement portraits to occur during the time we fly home that month (for only about 4 days in Ohio). We’ll be back here in May.
