Then, Monday, I hopped on a plane with my travel-crazy clients Jill & Lee for their destination engagement shoot in Washington DC. They’re both living in Columbus currently but DC holds a special place in their hearts. I can totally see why after the amazing time we had. You know me…I tried as many of the great restaurants as I could and stayed at the best B&B in the area – The Swann House. I HIGHLY recommend The Swann House, btw. Location – perfect. Management – perfect. Decor – adorable. I’m ready to go back:) Actually, it’s in the works. HUUUUGEEEE thanks to my lovely friend Cassidy for taking my call at 8 am the morning of the flight and accepting my spontaneous request to join me on the trip:) I couldn’t have done it without her. I wish you could see how opposite our planning styles are but we had a great time.

Amy has done it again. She’s come out with the most colorful, creative, textured and fun dresses in town! (And I’d say some of the BEST on Etsy!)
You may even see some of these changed up for fall:) I had the pleasure to shoot with a bunch of cuties again while they played in the new styles. They were A-DORABLE.

We did a shoot yesterday afternoon with 4 cuties for Lottie Da’s newest collection and a few summer faves.

May 22 I did some fun family portraits for the Wine family in Mt. Vernon. Derek, the recent college grad and reason for the family shoot, also happens to be Melissa Byrdy’s boy:) I was POSITIVE when they asked me to shoot their family that a proposal was being staged. It was too perfect. Well, Derek had no hardware on him that day so the shoot went off without a ring.
THEN! 5 days later he popped the question!!! I actually was quite emotional about the entire thing since it’s Matt’s only sister and the baby of the family. When I met her she was 13 and worrying about summer reading lists, softball practice, what to wear the first day of school, and all things disney. (well, she’s still into disney:). Where has the time gone??
